The foundation of Strategic Coach is Unique Ability. There is always a special something that everyone has that gives them extraordinary amounts of energy.
The activities you do, the type of situations you get into, and the type of relationships you have a traits of your Unique Ability.
We love being in the presence of someone else’s Unique Ability.
The key to your Unique Ability is to zero in on what you love doing, regardless of what other people are telling you about it.
The first person that has to believe in your ability is you.
Brain power doesn’t determine what happens to you in life.
The way we are rewarded in the 21st century is radically different than the way it worked in the past.
Entrepreneurship is a kind of Unique Ability that brings a very different perspective to how life is supposed to work.
It takes a certain level of self confidence to take yourself into the marketplace as an entrepreneur.
People can miss out on their Unique Ability purely on bad luck, you have to play the cards you were dealt the best that you can.
You can find your inspiration and hope externally in books. You can find role models outside of your social circle.
Addiction is often a way to escape the things we don’t like about the world, to feel okay again.
Selling is getting people intellectually engaged in a future result that’s good for them and getting them to emotionally commit to take action on the result.
You have to sell yourself on the possibility of a better future.
Many people read someone’s book or adopt a guru’s value system but it will never quite fit for them. Take what you like from a system that works for you and leave the rest.
Dan discovered at a very early age that if you want something, it helps to be useful to those around you.
Have a passion for asking questions, not just getting answers. That’s the root of selling and value creation.
