Greed or growth is not a conscious decision you make
It can be well established even before you have the intellectual mental capacity
When people drift into the past, they start like a snowball until they’re an avalanche
Shifting your mindset means committing all the way
Greedy people run into obstacles but they’re not trying to learn from themselves
They are extraordinarily resistant about learning about themselves
Greed comes from assigning 100% responsibility to other people
Growth people’s instinct is to ask if the problem is themselves
You can only have the power to correct yourself by taking 100% responsibility
One piece of advice: Take personal responsibility and make a solid commitment to growth
Dan advises on free days, focus days, and buffer days
The greatest freedom in the world is to be able to concentrate on the single most important thing without distractions
In growth, you’ll realize you can’t have anything for yourself if you don’t grant the same 100% to every other person you encounter
You should never expect any opportunity to be given to you unless you give value to other people

When it comes to responsibility, it starts with you
Find your own unique ability
Some people avoid taking responsibility for themselves by taking responsibility of others
Get focused on what you want to achieve
